The 2009 Phoenix Gay Pride Parade is on Saturday, 18 April, and starts an hour later than usual (IIRC) at 11:00 AM. Once again, it goes up 3rd Street from Thomas to Indian School, where the weekend-long Gay Pride Festival will also be going on. You can get more details on it here. I work with a heap of homophobes, so this is an important event for me. I make it a point each year to invite those homophobes (and others) to the parade.

Good for you! Maybe one day they'll accept your invite and learn a thing or two.
it is of course doubtful that any of them will come. but the activism lies in the act of openly inviting them.
what will their cubicle-neighbors think? surely they must be closet-gays (or maybe cross-dressers) if Terry is inviting them to the parade.
