That's three now
Iowa became the third state in the USA to realize that discrimination against same-sex marriages is unconstitutional and denies equal rights to people for no reason other than plain old meanness. You can read the MSNBC article on it here.

I love the state's argument against same-sex marriages : the courts have no business protecting the rights of gays - if a majority of the voters want to promote hate and be nasty to a minority, well by crackee, that oughta be good enough for the courts.

This really brightened my day today.
je répète - in the end, we will win. not because of my or your activism, although that helps. but because, when you get right down to it, discrimination against gays really is unconstitutional.
