What can I say? No wonder Senator Arlen Specter deserted the Republicans and became a Democrat today. While I'm not getting my hopes up about him (can someone say "Joe Lieberman"?), it does mean that mathematically, asinine Republican filibusters, can now be overruled. That bodes well for Supreme Court nominees during Obama's tenure.

What can I say? No wonder Senator Arlen Specter deserted the Republicans and became a Democrat today. While I'm not getting my hopes up about him (can someone say "Joe Lieberman"?), it does mean that mathematically, asinine Republican filibusters, can now be overruled.
