Why stop there?

An Iraqi court today shortened the sentence of Muntadhar el-Zeidi (Mr. Shoe-Thrower) down from three years to one. He is now due to be released in December 2009. You can read about it here. . Personally, he's one of my heroes. Someone who stood up and expressed the true feelings of the Iraqi populace to the occupying bullies. He's already been beaten up a couple times, and has been in jail for 4 months or so. Release this patriot now and give him a medal.

I think it's funny that this incident will be the one we think of when it comes to Bush. People will look back at him, see all the crap he did during his presidency, and think of him as the guy who got shoes thrown at him in Iraq. A spectacular end to his career.

and he wanted so much for us to remember him in a flight jacket. On an aircraft carrier deck. With a "Mission Accomplished" banner in the background.
