Happy Akiti-Sununum !!

That's what my Sumerian persona calls it. Something about "barley-planting" day. . My druid persona calls it the Vernal Equinox. It's that twice-yearly event, when the daylight hours are exactly equal to the darkness hours. Allowing for the "horizon factor" of course - such as living just to the west of a high mountain. . Amazingly, the daytime-equals-nighttime effect is true no matter where on earth you're standing. It took me an embarrassingly long time this morning to visualize why that's so.
