Congratulations to the 6th-seeded Arizona State Lady Sun Devils who, for the second straight game, knocked off a higher-seeded team in the NCAA tournament. This time it was 2nd-seeded Texas A&M.
.
ASU advances to the "Elite-8", which is as far as they've ever gone. All this despite their leading scorer, Dymond Simon, being out for the tournament due to a season-ending knee-injury.
.
Alas, next up is top-seeded and undefeated Connecticut. The Huskies are simply scary-good. Just ask Cal, who played UConn even for the first half today, yet ended up getting blown away bt 24 points when the Huskies woke up.
