Delusional skeptic, reveling in a multiple-personality disorder. Alternating between a 21st-century blogger, a 3rd-century BC Carthagenian general, a 5th-century BC druid, a 23rd-century BC Beaker-people trader, a 20th-century Estonian freedom-fighter, a time-traveler, and a sheepdog in Wyoming.
the Mormon church threw a lot of money at Prop 102. the battle is not over. the fight for equal rights for all people continues. eventually we will win, simply because it's what is right.
i hope you're enjoying this evening as much as i am. it truly is a historical night.

It's too bad about prop 102, though... :(

I am, and I enjoyed it with a couple friends and some chips and dip (per your suggestion) and lots of baklava. Mmm...
Ok, now I'm confused. No change there then. Bear with me while I try and figure out youze guyz political system ...
Obama, Democrat, 'Blue'
McCain, Republican, 'Red'
Democrat = Socialist/Communist, usually coloured 'Red' for obvious reasons in most countries.
Republican = Conservative, usually coloured 'Blue' in most countries.
Socialists: Notorious for 'tax and squander', starting unjust wars, then losing them.
Conservatives: Known for sound financial management and only getting into wars that are just and then rightly won.
So ...
Dubyah was a Republican, but acted like a Socialist.
Obama is Democrat, and is going to save the world like a Conservative would.
My head hurts.

Hi Winnie,
i can't wait till you try to fathom the Electoral College.
