Move over, Bulwer-Lytton Awards; you've got company. And I guess I'd expect it to be some Brits that came up with a "Bad Sex In Fiction" contest. I've even heard of one of the finalists - Paulo Coelho. I may have to look for "Brida" at the used-book store.

Yeah I heard about this the other day. i read a couple of entries with horror and put it away. Yikes! Do people actually think those things are sexy??
ps - my word verification is "scoph" which is just too much like "scoff" to be a coincidence...
it's the judges i wonder about. what kind of research do they do to find these passages? then after they've found them, what do they do - sit around and read them to each other?
