there was a time (1491, to be exact) when it is said you could walk from the east coast to the Mississippi River without ever having to leave the forest. i've flown over Ohio and Indiana. those days are long gone.
planting a lot more trees would be helpful in several ways.

We either need to plant a lot more trees, or find a way to print on synthetic or cotton-type materials.
