I'll admit, Classical Piano is not one of my favorite genres. Although under the tutelage of a colleague from work, I am developing a taste for it. By and large, one pianist sounds like the next to me, so my preferences tend to be measured by who the composer was, not who's tickling the ivories.

Sergei Rachmaninoff (1873-1943) is one of my favorite composers. Here he plays his own four concertos, along with a gazillion variations on a theme by Paganini.

IMHO, Concerto #2 is better than #3, which is better than #4, which is better than #1. Who cares what the experts think?
