Where in this Dali-esque world?
No, this isn't photoshopped. It's actually sculpture(s) in ...erm... well, that's the challenge - name the city and country where this is. For extra credit, name the building it's in front of. The only hint we'll give is - this is somewhere in Europe. So good luck with your Google Image Searchwords skills.
First correct answer gets ...let's see now... how 'bout a copy of George Carlins's book, "When Will Jesus Bring The Porkchops?". Absolutely free. If you pay the postage. ;-)

Oddly, what I find is a statue that looks exactly the same as this one (at least the big head, not sure about the headless body), which is in the center of Krakow, Poland. However, the statue in all the pictures i see is on a raised platform surrounded by cement, and not on a grassy knoll in front of a building. I wonder if they moved it? Or if one is a replica of the other?
this one's not in Krakow. but i don't know any background on this one (other than its location), so one may well be a replica of the other.
yeah, well, I've got to admit, the book isn't much of an incentive to search, so after a couple image and webpage attempts, I gave up. Hopefully someone else will come along and satisfy my lazy curiousity.
if not, i'll post the answer in a day or so. even knowing its location, it was a challenge to find a second photo of it. this pic comes from a friend who was there recently. i am also trying to locate it on google-earth.
Hola!
It's in Barcelona, Spain.
Recuerdos,
Igor Mitoraj
ummm, not in Barcelona. that would be La Familia Sagrada.
What I can't believe is the girl is just walking right by... I couldn't help but stop and check it out. It is so weird how the locals don't generally stop and smell their own roses.
yep. i think it's an incredibly kewl statue. statues, i guess. but maybe if i saw it every day, i'd soon be ignoring it too.
