Delusional skeptic, reveling in a multiple-personality disorder. Alternating between a 21st-century blogger, a 3rd-century BC Carthagenian general, a 5th-century BC druid, a 23rd-century BC Beaker-people trader, a 20th-century Estonian freedom-fighter, a time-traveler, and a sheepdog in Wyoming.
McCain didn't do as bad as I expected. He was a little scattered and he liked to throw in key words to his base every time he got flustered - "You know, I love our veterens..." - but other than that, he held his own more than I would have expected. From an unbiased viewpoint, I think they were in a virtual tie, with Obama out slightly ahead. I do have to say that if I hear the term "maverick" again I'm going to puke.
i was thinking that Conventional Wisdom was that McCain would have the advantage here, and that Biden would have the advantage in the Veep debate. if Obama held his own, then things went quite well.
