Hey London and Paris !!

We had a high of 82°F today! With low humidity and not a cloud in the sky.
Come to think of it, it's gonna be this way for the rest of the week.
And no, we don't want to discuss the weather when June rolls around.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your recent post.

Unfortunatly, due to the mildly seasonal weather condtions, there is nobody available to reply.

We have been caught completely by surprise by a small amount of snow in the mid-Winter, and so have stopped all trains and buses from running, closed banks, schools, shops and roads, there is no postal service, and we've saturated every TV program with pictures of snow, just in case anyone missed it.

We apologise for any inconvience caused, but at least thing are not as bad as the last season when leaves fell from trees unexpectedly causing transport chaos and making our lawns look untidy.

Never mind, everyone still gets paid, and the UK economy loses 1.5 billion pounds.

Kind Regards,

George Parr,
Spokesman,
UK Department For Missing The Bl**dy Obvious.

hi, the Hon. G. Parr, esq.

as picturesque as these two shots of Big Ben (or is it St. Stephen's Tower?) are, IIRC, the BBC article said London got hit with all the way up to 4 (count 'em, 4!!)inches of snow.

Sheesh. When i was a young'un, 4 inches wasn't enough to even hope for school being cancelled.
