I love Non Sequitur! Danae is my idol. ;)

the Mesa Tribune generally tries to get rid of all "leftist" comics, so I'm guessing Non Sequitur's days are numbered.

they moved Doonesbury from the comics page to the editorial page (and who reads their editorial page anyway), then later removed it from the paper completely, relegating it to their website (who bothers to go to the Trib's website?). in the meantime, they've added a couple local, and atrocious, comics.

then again, the Mesa Trib's days are numbered. financially, they're in a world of hurt. they're little more than a local rag anymore, but they want to charge you big-paper prices.

Doh, that sucks. I've been having a comic emailed to me daily that I don't get here in TX. http://www.gocomics.com/ will send you one for free, and I think you can browse as many as you'd like.

i liked the gocomics site. i'll have to visit it more often when i'm websurfing during lunch at TKI. lately, i've been enjoying some of the net-cartoons out there. they're a mixed bag - some very funny; others completely lacking in wit. the "binary sudoku" site is one of the better ones.

No love for Calvin and Hobbes? You're really, really (really?) saying Dilbert is more worthy of placement in the pentateuch than Calvin and Hobbes?

You're dead to me.

i wouldn't argue with anyone who'd include C&H in their top 5. The Far Side is also a good choice.

my only beef with both of those is that their authors quit and never came back. that sucks.

i'm dead to a lot of people. that's where having a bunch of multiple personalities comes in handy.
