Book Excerpt for the Day

Alice found prostitution to be an easy profession.  "Physical beauty is the sole preserve of woemen," Madame Lola was fond of saying.  "A man's beauty is in his money; the more of it he has, the better looking he is."

It was a point of view that Alice took to heart, devoting herself to her 'relaxation' duties even when the utterly repulsive Count Honas Obese (who looked more like an asymmetrical merging of six fat frogs than anything conceivably born of woman) took a fancy to her.
