You need to clean your camera lens - The photos all have a blurry spot at the top right.

i'm a dog-whisperer; what can i say? OTOH, cats are vile creatures.
there was indeed a smudge on the lens. but i only noticed after transferring the pix to the PC. Liz was the last person to use it before Xmas Eve; but she denies doing the smudging.
