That would be UT in the background, and he's giving the "Hook 'Em Horns" sign. Being a soon to be ex-Austinite, I say he's definitely cool. ;)

Well...since we don't watch sports, I'm guessing it won't really matter, lol! I must say though, the level of spirit the fans have here rivals anything I have ever seen. A friend was at the most recent home game at UT and shared some pics she took of the ENTIRE stadium wearing orange. It was unreal! I've never seen that anywhere.
you'd never get ASU fans to color-coordinate. they'd have to put down the beer bottle to change shirts.
