We picked 'Bella' for several reasons. First, it's close to "Belle", which I lobbied for. Second, my friend Arzu (who suggested it) tells me it means "Beautiful" in Italian, and Bella is certainly a cutey. Third, it can be short for both "Belladonna" and "Florabella".
She seems to be settling in nicely, after running away within 24 hours of us bringing her home. Mr. Jynx and Huxley have accepted her into their circle, albeit a bit grudgingly.
This coming weekend, we either take her back or pay for her. The latest poll indicates there's a 99.99999% chance we'll keep her. So expect lots of schmoozy pictures of Bella over the next few months. And years. And of course, lots of pics of Jynx and Huxley as well.
