Vile Vials

From last week.  Jeez, I guess cartoonists don't see the need for spell-checking.  But this is the vilest typo I've ever seen in a comic strip.

The Devil in the White City

This is last Saturday's Pearls Before Swine strip.  The Larson book being cited is called The Devil in the White City, and it really is a superb read.  So, no, it is not wrong to mace stupid people.

Science Fridays!

To give proper credit, this is an excerpt from yesterday's Tom The Dancing Bug comic strip, which you can read and enjoy the GoComics.com.

A McDonalds Pun

Barney & Clyde is one of my favorite daily comic strips.  It's in the same vein as Non Sequitur, but with a lot of puns and other witticisms thrown in.  Plus, it assumes you have an IQ of an adult, not a 5-year-old.  Kewl stuff.

Autological

"Autological" and "Heterological" deftly examined.  And we won't even mention my personal favorite, "Pentasyllabic".

Valences

We don't post Calamities Of Nature comics as often as we should.  I don't know why.  It's one of only about a half-dozen comic strips out there that actually assumes the reader has a certain degree of intelligence.  Plus, it quite often has science or math as its topic.  Plus, it is usually hilarious.  Like this one.

9 Chickweed Lane

A 9 Chickweed Lane comic strip from earlier this week.  Maybe it's just me, but I can't help thinking that they slipped this one by the censors somehow.

Frazz

A great Sunday comic strip that contains three pun(ch) lines in it.  How kewl is that?!

Eh?

This is today's B.C. It's bad enough that I don't fully understand the humor (is she lying about how many strokes it took her to get to the green?). But what is even more mysterious is how the hole itself magically shifts over closer to Curls between the first panel and the last.

Yeah, I'm a chess geek...

... so I found this Baby Blues strip to be hilarious.

Inspirational Quote for the Day

"Facts are for people who can't create their own truth."

Yo Mama Jokes (by Physicists)

Physicists are to the Scientific World what poodles are to the Dog World. Cute in a dim-wittedly sort of way, and embarrassingly dull. . Full Disclosure : I did crappy in my physics classes, and found the subject to be more boring than even straight math. "Physics with Calculus" is the worst of both worlds.

Bambi Chess

and I just hate it when someone kills my Bambi's mother before I kill their Bambi's mother.

Morning Dimness

Neither one of these comics made any sense to me this morning. And let's face it, Beetle Bailey and B.C. are not known for their cerebral humor.
