My First Computer

My first computer was a 386, which had just come out and was just barely starting to replace the 286's. It had a 40-meg hard drive, with 12 megs of that already taken up by MS-DOS. I felt like a pig in mud, having that much "free" hard drive space.

Marketing

I'm a chemist by trade.  This is also why they don't let chemists do marketing.  I could tell you stories.

Corporate Teamwork

There is no "I" in "Team".  But I'm pretty sure I can find a "Me" in there.  And I'm pretty sure Scott Adams is a co-worker of mine.

Dress Code

They issued a dress code where I work earlier this week.  Eerily, it is remarkably similar to what the Pointy-Haired Boss is reading to Dilbert.

Payed?

Uzi Takes King. Checkmate.

I did win one (rated) chess game when the opponent played "Uzi Kills Everything".  He was rated 400 points higher than me, and I beat him with an unsound opening, while his friend, the state champion looked on.

I have also seen several Risk games end this way.
