    Really, folks.  Adopt a dog from the pound or a shelter.  Boycott puppy mills.  Spay and neuter your dogs.  The number of dogs (and cats) that are put to sleep every day is astounding.

     All three of our dogs are rescue projects to some degree.  We got Huxley from a puppy farm, despite the fact that he's a mutt.  Jynx was a runaway that nobody claimed.  And we went to a Rescue Shelter to get Bella.

Friday Night Awww

    None of our three dogs, including the pup, chew up things they're not supposed to - shoes, socks, candles, newspaper, whatever.

    But they have a slew of stuffed animals, and they know that those are fair game.  One of the three (not sure which) eviscerated a stuffed frog yesterday.
