Book Excerpt for the Day


    “Let’s see,” Teresa said in a chipper tone of voice as she assumed a plastic smile.  “We need to find food, but we can’t disrupt the Prime Continuum, and since we’re in a castle under siege, we’ll be lucky to steal a few potatoes.”

    “No potatoes yet,” Gabriel’s mouth watered at the thought of a big baked potato with melted cheddar cheese and sour cream.   “Potatoes come from Peru.  They don’t end up in Europe until the 1700’s.”

    “Thank you, Mr. History.”
  (Note: They were in France in 1203 AD at this point in time.)
