“He didn’t leave you stranded in the middle of the Mexican desert ass
naked.” Strike smiled, bringing her hand
up to her mouth in a weak attempt at covering up her amusement. “Don’t laugh – hey, it’s not funny.”
“It’s kind of funny,” Strike said.
