Bugbear felt something cold and hard smash against the back of his head. It wasn't something he wanted to feel there. No, not at all. Yet there it was. And it was followed by something he didn't want to hear.
"Don't move an inch, or I'll take your misbegotten head."
Oh, he didn't want to hear that at all. He hated the word "misbegotten."
