More Cures, Less Wars

You can expect a lot of self-righteous ranting in the near future from the dittoheads about the cost of Obama's Health Care Reform plan. This is hypocritical, since the Dubnutz regime took deficit-spending to new heights. Er... depths. It is also not surprising, since the GOP has pandered to the big-business drug companies and insurance providers for decades.

Personally, I'm all for bringing the troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan, and spending all that wartime "Mad Money" to improve the day-to-day conditions of folks here in the USA. I realize that the wing-nut stance is "as long as wealthy white Americans can afford health coverage, who cares about anybody else". But I'd prefer that the American Dream be achievable for all of us.
