RIP Blackjack
Goodbye, sweet Blackjack! When Liz brought you home after rescuing you from a strip mall alley, your life expectancy was less than 24 hours. You beat that by 5+ years.
You were a trooper till the end, and you leave a hole in my heart that will never fully heal. Have fun running and jumping along Rainbow Bridge.

RIP Hieronymus Bosch
Happy Death Day to this dude. (d. 08/09/1516) His artwork (see below), plus the fact that we have no record of where and when he was born, is arguably the most compelling evidence we have that time-travel is a reality.

Salvador Dali Monday
RIP, Salvador Dali. Died 01/23/89. This is one of my favorite Dali paintings, although, truth be told, I have about 100 of those.
It is, however, my favorite Dali title:
50 Abstract Paintings which Seen from Two Metres Change into Three Lenins Disguised as Chinese and Seen from Six Metres Appear as the Head of a Royal Tiger

RIP Prince
I can't say you were my favorite artist, but you were certainly an original and a one-of-a-kind. In the music world of cookie-cutter wannabees that allow themselves to be molded by the whims of record companies, you stand almost alone as someone who stayed true to his Muse.

RIP Huxley
RIP, Huxley. You weren't the smartest dog ever, and maybe not even the prettiest. But you were the bestest dog we ever had, and you're going to leave a hole in my heart for a long, long time.
