The Copperfield Defense
I had a defense similar to this played against me once in a chess tournament. The much-higher rated player simply wiped all the pieces off the board. That was his way of resigning.
.
I also had this defense played in a Risk game one time in college. Five of us freshmen were ganging up on an upperclassman, and his armies were about to be annihilated. I have to confess we were mouthy about his impending demise. He simply stood up, picked up the entire Risk board, and folded it exactly as you see in the third panel above. End of the game; end of the world.
