Thermostat

    This is quite true at our house in the winter, even though we live in Phoenix.  I like things pleasantly warm  as I walk around barefoot and in cutoffs.  Liz prefers things to be arctic frigid.

    She wins every time.  Something about "dressing for the season".

Sleeping in Winter

    Even here in Arizona, this pretty much describes my winter sleeping habits.  You just have to throw in two small dogs trying to nudge me off the bed all night long.

Winter Fans

    Well, winter's finally arrived in Arizona, but we've yet to turn the heat on.  But when we do, we will still have not one, but two fans going in the bedroom.

Winter Storm

    A winter storm of epic proportions is about to sweep across the United States, and here I am in Arizona, debating whether to wear sandals with my cutoffs, or just go barefoot.

Ice Bucket Challenge

    I'm not keen on things like the recent Ice Bucket Challenge craze.  But if God takes part in it, I guess it's okay.
