Mahler vs. Opera

    Listen, I like classical music.  Bach, Beethoven, Haydn, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Wagner, Strauss.  They're all good.  But Mahler?  Meh.

    Still, the worst of Mahler is still a lot more enjoyable than the best Opera.

Opera

    I'm happy to say I've never gone to see an opera.  I did attend a ballet once.  A local production of Swan Lake.  It was  every bit as meh as I thought it would be.
