Ode to Black Friday

Pretty true, except I did put up all of the outside Christmas lights.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Despite all its commercialization, it's good to remember the true meaning of today's holiday.

Thanksgiving Forecast

The weather forecast for Phoenix on Thanksgiving is 88°F for a high, and sunny, cloudless skies.  This just ain't right.

Happy Thanksgiving

A holiday Mythtickle strip from way, way back in 2009.  Which means the strip's been going for at least 6 years.  I like Mythtickle for its fantasy element, and its tie-ins to mythology.  And most of all, I like it because the artwork reminds me of my all-time favorite (and long retired) comic strip, Pogo.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve

They may be overdoing it with all the "Pumpkin Spice" variations this year.  But I don't mind.

Black Friday

Not so.  I put up the outside Christmas lights.  And ate leftovers.  And watched football.

Happy Thanksgiving

Here's hoping you all have lots to eat, loved ones to share it with, and a long afternoon nap.  Oh yeah, here's hoping the Cowboys lose and the Lions win.

Yesterday...

...we had a Thanksgiving dinner that couldn't be beat, went to bed, and didn't wake up until the next morning. (and I got to hear this song to boot)

Happy Thanksgiving!

We'll be having some of the above, along with the usual fare. Including Liz's specialty - turkey-ham roll-ups. A long nap is planned for the afternoon, somewhere about the time the Plowboys go up by more than three touchdowns on the hapless Raiders.
