Happy Birthday, Orhan Pamuk

    Winner of the 2006 Nobel Prize in Literature, and perhaps the most popular Turkish writer of our time.  I've read Snow and My Name Is Red (English translations, of course), and they're both good.

    Sixty years old today.  Salut, Mr. Pamuk, sir!
