
That's what my Sumerian persona calls it. Something about
"barley-planting" day.

My druid persona calls it the
Vernal Equinox. It's that twice-yearly event, when the daylight hours are
exactly equal to the darkness hours. Allowing for the
"horizon factor" of course - such as living just to the west of a high mountain.

Amazingly, the
daytime-equals-nighttime effect is true no matter where on earth you're standing. It took me an embarrassingly long time this morning to visualize why that's so.
